Central board of Secondary educational (CBSE) is going to conduct Central Teacher Eligibility Test on 21st February, 2016 for the aspiring candidates who want to prove their worth and quality as primary and Higher School level teaching post. Every year, approximately 5 lakh candidates apply for the examination but in this year, more than 8 lakh applicants have completed registration and are waiting for admit card. They will be glad to know that CBSE CTET Admit Card February 2016 will be made available from 25th January, 2016.

The Central Board of Secondary Education is a Board of Education for public and private schools, under the Union Government of India. CBSE conducts the final examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 every year in the month of March. The results are announced by the end of May. Apart from these tests, CBSE also conducts the central teachers eligibility test and the Class X optional proficiency test. With the addition of NET in 2014, the CBSE has become the largest exam conducting body in the world.

CBSE CTET February 2016 Hall Ticket will be accessible from the website: www.ctet.nic.in from 25th January and candidates can download their respective hall ticket from the server till the day before the written test. Call letter will not be sent to address and no offline mode to access admit card will be available.  CBSE CTET 2016 Syllabus & Exam Pattern

Exam will be multiple choice type and will be divided into two papers. Paper I will be for candidates who want to teach from class I to V level. Paper II is for Class VI to VIII level. Paper I will contain questions on child pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Environmental Studies. Each section will carry 30 marks.

Paper II will contain questions on Child pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics for Mathematics and science teacher or Social Science for Social Science teacher. Math and Social Science part will consist of 60 marks and other segments will carry 30 marks.

CTET February 2016 Result and Merit List

The examination board will notify the candidates about the probable result date after the completion of the written test. It will publish result on the server and answer key will also be provided right after the exam is taken. CBSE CTET Merit List February 2016 will be based on the mark obtained in the exam. Expected cut off mark for the exam out of 150 mark is 87 for General, 85 for OBC, 80 for SC/ST. Cut off bar might vary slightly depending on a number of other factors. But it is expected that the board will adhere to the previous bar to publish this year’s result as well.
